The Chevrolet Trailblazer left the lineup in 2009, but the automaker is now bringing it back as a 2021 model, which goes on sale in the spring of 2020. Connectivity and infotainment
You’ll find the latest version of Chevy’s infotainment system inside the 2021 Trailblazer, which will allow for the pairing of two phones at once via Bluetooth®. This system will also feature available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionalities, so you can pair up your smartphone and use certain applications in the vehicle. You’ll also have available SiriusXM Satellite Radio with 360L, which is a more advanced version of SiriusXM that provides satellite content and streaming content, and it learns your musical preferences as well for a more tailor-made experience.
Each Trailblazer will be powered by either a 1.2L or 1.3L turbo engine, with up to 155 horsepower on the offering. Each one will be paired up with a standard continuously variable transmission with start/stop functionality. There will also be a nine-speed automatic transmission available to drivers of Trailblazer models that are equipped with the 1.3L engine as well as all-wheel drive (AWD). Speaking of AWD, the Trailblazer also offers the available selectable AWD, which lets you activate or deactivate AWD based on the terrain or conditions. Front-wheel drive models also offer three drive modes: Normal, Snow, and Sport.
The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer will have as much as 54.4 cubic feet of total cargo capacity with the rear seats folded down, and an available hands-free liftgate can help make loading the vehicle a cinch.
