It’s a magical time of the year, and if you want to get out and enjoy some Christmas 2019 events and light displays in La Crosse, WI, we have a few suggestions of where you can go.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Rotary Lights Display at Riverside Park in La Crosse. Walk the park and see the beautiful lights and make wonderful new memories. The display opens on November 29th with carriage rides, an opening night parade, and even some fireworks with the opening ceremony! The kids can visit with Santa on opening night and other nights as well. Check their event schedule for full details.
The lovely Historic Hixon House is opening its doors again for the annual Holiday Showcase. On November 30th, December 1st, December 7th, and December 8th, go inside the historic house and take in all the holiday wonders. On December 14th, the Rose Ensemble will make a final appearance in La Crosse before disbanding next year. They will perform at Maria Angelorum Chapel, St. Rose Convent. Colonial carols and other music will be on the offering, and it’s a great opportunity for the entire family to take in some seasonal music by a long and storied act one last time.
